Rising damp: The typical pattern of rising damp is high moisture content at the base of the wall which fades as it goes up the wall. Rising damp does not extend 1.2 metres above ground level.

    The symptoms of rising damp:
    • Damp, discoloured marks on internal decorations
    • Blisters and disintegrating plaster
    • Wet rot decay causing rotting skirting boards and floor timbers

    Adc-Ltd will determine the cause of rising damp, supply a report and quotation for the appropriate remedial work.

There are three main types of dampness, rising damp, penetrating damp and condensation. ADC Ltd can offer in-depth reports and solutions to combat all three types of problems.

Our surveyor will, after inspecting the property for rising damp, send out a comprehensive report with a plan showing which areas require treatment and which system is required to solve the problem in the most effective manner.
